Inspired by the pioneering spirit that has long shaped Nevada, this theme encourages us to explore our work through new lenses, uncover new opportunities, and find creative solutions to the challenges facing museums today. By embracing new perspectives, we can elevate diverse voices, engage new audiences, and strengthen our connections with the communities we serve.
This will be an excellent opportunity for attendees to dig deep as we learn, inspire and exchange ideas about museum practice in the Silver State and beyond.
The 2026 Annual Meeting celebrates the coming together of Nevada’s many diverse institutions in the name of collaboration and support of best practices. Attendance to the Annual Meeting is open to museum professionals, leaders, and supporters with the intent that the conference inspires deep thinking, future partnerships and dynamic conversations.
We are currently in the planning phase for NMA 2026 – with hotel and venue news to come shortly.
Hotel and Venue
The 2026 NMA Annual Conference will take palace at the Holiday Inn Resort Mesquite at 333 N Sandhill Blvd, Mesquite, NV 89027 on October 6-9. Rooms at the conference hotel are available at a special group rate of $120/night. Rooms must be booked by September 6, 2026 to receive the group rate.
