The Art Wolf Scholarship for Emerging Museum Professionals
Our annual scholarship for emerging museum professionals honors Art Wolf, founder of Wolf Consulting, and life-long supporter of and advocate for museums. Through his firm, Wolf led museums and other cultural associations to define and achieve their missions. During his forty-year career, he served terms on the American Alliance of Museums Board of Directors, Association of Science Museum Directors, and the Board of ICOM-US, the Unites States affiliate of the International Council of Museums. Most
recently, in 2019, he was named a Star Advocate by the American Alliance of Museums. An avid attendee, presenter and supporter of the Nevada Museums Association annual conference, we continue Art Wolf’s legacy through this scholarship fund.
Emerging professionals such as students, volunteers, and part-time museum employees are welcome to apply for a scholarship, which includes registration fees, workshop costs, accommodations, and a $100 travel stipend. To apply, please submit the following information by June 15, 2023 to Laura Benedict using the subject line “NMA Scholarship Application”:

- Are you a student, volunteer, or part-time employee?
- What institution(s) are you affiliated with?
- How will you benefit from attending the NMA 2023 annual meeting?
