Nevada Test Site Tour Come join a very special NMA Pre-Conference tour of the Nevada Test Site on September 12, 2007. The National Nuclear Security Administration offers free public tours of the NTS, a secure government facility 65 miles north of Las Vegas. You will be given a one-of-a-kind glimpse of the NTS by Kathy Carlson, who recently retired as Manager of the Nevada Site Office of the DOE. Your all-day tour will include such sites as the Sedan Crater, News Nob Hill near Yucca Flat, and the Ice Cap Tower.
